Photo-taking Day

鑑於新冠肺炎疫情的緣故，大部分課程取消了面授課堂，所以我們希望能藉此活動讓同學們和教職員有見面的機會，從而建立並提升同學對學會以及大學的歸屬感。其次，由於今年是本學會成立的十週年，所以我們也特意在此加入十週年的元素，用數字和字母金色氣球拼出「10th」的字句，與同學們拍照慶祝。本次活動包括十位內閣成員一共有二十二位學生，以及兩位教職員，Dr. Wallace Lim和Professor Billy Chow參與。我們一起拍了一些大合照，也有個別同學和教職員的合照。我們在此再次感謝參與這個活動的教職員和同學，令活動得以順利進行。

Due to the pandemic, many face-to-face lectures are cancelled. Therefore, through the Photo-taking Day, teachers and students can have a chance to gather together. By joining the Photo-taking Day, the sense of identity of being a HKU student and a Member of Biological Sciences Society, SS, HKUSU can be increased. It is a very meaningful activity for us. Also, this year is the 10th anniversary of our Society. Therefore, elements of the 10th anniversary are added to the Photo-taking Day. To celebrate the 10th anniversary, we used balloon words like “10th” as props to take photos. In this activity, there was a total of 22 Members including 10 Executive Committee members and 2 teaching staff joining. They are Dr. Wallace Lim and Professor Billy Chow. Some group photos and personal photos are taken. Once again, thank you all Members and teaching staff for coming to our Photo-taking Day, making this activity successful.
