Biological Sciences Society, SS, HKU (香港大學理學會生物科學學會) was first founded in 2011. The Society is an academic society affiliated to Science Society, HKU.
The aims of the Society are:

To serve as the official representative body of all Members;

To promote interest in BS, MBB within and without the Society;

To promote comradeship and spirit among the Members;

To act as a bridge between the Members and the School in furthering the interests of BS, MBB students as a whole;

To provide general welfare for the Members.

Hakuna matata
We are Hakuna Matata, the Cabinet of Biological Sciences Society, SS, HKU Session 2022–2023. We come up this name because of its message - it means no worries for the rest of your days. It is a common trend that students nowadays are surrounded by pressures from all sides such as academic, peer and family. We would like our Members to leave their troubles behind and enjoy themselves while they are taking part in our activities, just like our Cabinet's namesake - Hakuna Matata.
We chose marigold orange to be our Cabinet color because it represents youth, enthusiasm, pleasure and freedom which we want our Members to process.
