於 2021 年 6 月 16 日，我們舉辦了去Sanomics Limited的參觀，旨在為會員提供科學家畢業後的潛在職業道路。 Sanomics Limited 專門為癌症患者提供液體活檢和基於生物組織的基因診斷，幫助醫生為患者制定個性化的癌症解決方案。 工作人員向我們介紹了營銷團隊和研究團隊，也今參加者知道，營銷也是一個從科學課程畢業後的選擇。 通過參觀他們的實驗室，參與者還可以更好地了解不同的實驗室設備以及作為實驗室技術人員的工作方式。 總體而言，參觀的公司提供了豐富的信息，並與我們建立了良好的關係。 參加者對香港創新生物科技公司的運作有了更深入的了解，並提高了他們參與本地生物科技公司出色工作的興趣。

Firm Visit to Sanomics Limited was held on 16th June 2021 aiming to provide Members with possible career paths after graduating as a scientist. Sanomics Limited specialises in providing liquid biopsy and tissue-based genetic diagnostics for cancer patients, helping doctors decide personalised cancer solutions for patients. The staff have introduced the marketing teams and research teams to us which shows us that marketing is also an option after graduating from the Science programme. By visiting their lab, participants also have a better understanding of different lab equipment and how it is like to work as a lab technician. Overall, the Firm Visit was informative and a positive relationship was established with the firm. Participants have gained a better understanding of the operation of an innovative biotechnology company in Hong Kong and their interests in joining the amazing work in the local biotechnology companies were raised.
